Among its family, Mandevilla ‘Alice du Pont’ is the biggest one in all features: its pink, funnel-shaped flowers reach up to 10 cm, its oval-oblong , deeply textured and dark green leaves are the biggest ones and its growth is strongest. In one season, the shoots of this fast-growing climber can easily reach several meters. They can be wound around a trellis or be directed along a wire in order to add some green to the walls of a winter garden. Given sufficient supply of water and fertilizer, ‘Alice du Pont’ produces flower after flower as long as the temperature is constantly above 15 °C. It needs only little light and even in half-shady situations produces many flowers.
