Judging by its gray, thickend stem one might not expect this plants’ qualities: during the whole summer, up to 8 cm long pink, red or white (depending on variety) funnel-shaped flowers open in compact clusters at the end of shoots. During winter, when the leaves come down, these succulent plants should be kept dry.
