Just by thinking of its name ‘Jasmine’ one can almost smell the finest flower perfumes. With a collection of various sorts of Jasmin it is no problem to enjoy the sweet fragrance all-the-year on the terrace or in a winter garden. The best known Jasmine probaly is the True Jasmine (Jasminum officinale). In Southern Europe this Jasmine is commercially grown for producing Jasmine- oil. The pinnate-leaved shoots change colour to yellow in autumn and can grow several meters in one year. They therefore need a strong climbing support that they will cover with countless white flowers in summer. We recommend you place this climber close to your favorite seat, so you can enjoy this stunning fragrance. Given some winter protection, this Jasmin is hardy enough to be planted in the garden. Its shoots normally freeze off in winter, but reliably grow again in spring.
